Ayurvedic Medical Clinic at D. S. Senanayaka Vidyalaya, Matara

An Ayurvedic Medical Clinic was a successful initiative by the Butterflies Unit and Little Friends Pack of D. S. Senanayaka Vidyalaya, Matara, which was held on the 30th of May. This programme which mainly focused on diabetes and high blood pressure, aimed to increase awareness, provide essential health screenings, and promote healthy lifestyles among parents, teachers and other participants.
An awareness session on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases was conducted for the Butterflies, the Little Friends and all those present. At the end of the session all participants were treated to a healthy Kurakkan porridge.
