The Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association's Little Friends Branch held the Multicultural Festival at Ti Rathana Community Center in Kottawa on the 27th of April 2024.
This event was organized by the Little Friend Commissioner and the committee. The Chief Commissioner Dr.Kushantha Herath , Deputy Chief Commissioner Mrs.Nirmalee William and Assistant Chief Commissioner Mrs. Nanduni Wickrematunga were the special guests.
Over the course of the day, the Little Friends were treated to a rich tapestry of performances, crafts, and activities that honoured the diverse cultures in our country. The Little Friends and the leaders from around the country had an enjoyable day participating in these activities.
The vibrant spirit of diversity took center stage as the Multicultural Festival concluded its festivities, leaving a lasting impression of unity and celebration in our community. As the participants bid farewell to the memorable festival, they carried with them the spirit of diversity and unity that will continue to strengthen our community for years to come.
