Thinking Day Celebration of Homagama Zone

The Thinking Day celebration of Homagama Zone was celebrated on the 24th of February 2024 at Siri Piyarathana Junior School Padukka.
The theme of the celebration was to Discover the African Region. The chief guest of the event was Mr. Sirisena Amarasekara, the former Sri Lankan High Commissioner to South Africa. The Deputy Director of Education – School Administration, Mrs. Anupama Bandara and the Principal of Siri Piyarathana Junior School, Padukka, Mr. M.N. Bandara also partipciapte the event as special guests.
The event was organized by the Zonal Commissioner, Ms. Ishenka Udeshinie Fernando, The division Commissioners and the Guide Leaders of the Homagama Zone. The Little Friends, Guides and Rangers presented various African performances which depicted the African culture.
