Tree Planting Event in the Kelaniya Zone
The Roads to Rights Organization's Climatic Council planned a tree planting program in Kelaniya Zone alongside Girl Guides from Vishaka Balika Vidyalaya Sapugaskanda to commemorate Earth Day 2024. Nearly 50 Guides and non-Guides attended this event. The R2R Climatic Council members explained the facts concerning global warming and the need for tree planting. Plants were distributed to the attendees and also planted on the school grounds. Mr. Ashan Perera, founder of the Roads to Rights Organization, enlightens the audience.
